Thing One Set Up a Blog

First step done!

I didn't like those standard template choices blogger had to offer. Seemed so generic and impersonal. Worst of all they didn't have any cartoon or anime choices! What were they thinking? There's always a cartoon or comic or anime choice for layout designs!

Well I found that unacceptable. I went and got a simple layout design that I enjoyed. How can you go wrong with Hello Kitty? I went to edit posts so I can access the html section and embedded the layout code. It asked me if I wanted to continued even though some of the gadgets would be deleted like "Followers." I accepted because I knew I could always go back and add it again.

That's another issue I have with Blogger. If I would want to change my layout design using a third party, like I did with Hello Kitty, than I would be forced to delete everything but my blogs. Virtually starting all over. That can be annoying after a while which is the reason why I deleted my account with Blogger a long time ago. Ironic that I have a new one again. You'd think they would have corrected this problem after a year but I guess not. For this reason I feel that sometimes Blogger is harshing my creativity. So I'll have to fight the desire to change my layout throughout the course of this workshop, which for me will take a lot of willpower. After that I'll most likely get rid of it again. ^O^

Oh and I added a song to my blog cause I just wanted to add another personal touch. I like ninja's cause I'm a fan of Naruto. Hopefully it's allowed for the workshop. Have a nice day!

P.S
Otaku is Japanese for anime geek. In case anyone was wondering about the origins of my display name. ^O^
